Hal Harper is Director of Finance for Newton Second Advisors. Mr. Harper has over
20 years of experience in operational and budget accounting. He has worked in
a variety of industries including IT consulting services, life insurance and reinsurance,
wholesale and retail automotive repair chains, and the wine import and export
business.
As Director of Finance for Newton Second Advisors, Mr. Harper oversees the accounting
processes and internal controls of the portfolio companies. He assists management
with cash flow analysis, budget planning and financial forecasting to help improve
the performance and efficiency of operations.
Mr. Harper previously held the position of CFO for McCune Audio/Video/Lighting,
a company specializing in convention and trade show equipment rentals and services.
Mr. Harper managed and supervised the accounting staff for collections, billing,
and accounts payable, processed company payroll, coordinated and prepared all
financial reports, as well as provided cash flow management and budgets for the
owner. He implemented a fixed assets system containing over two thousand line
items and prepared audit schedules for the company's CPAs.
